I only used Freud Blades, Period. My second cut was ripping down 1-7/8" LVL beams. Nothing better than a fine tuned saw with an excellent blade. I needed a new blade as I accidently hit a metal object embedded in a board. However, the inertia of this solid blade makes for the vibration free cuts everyone must have. The blade arrived on time thanks to 2nd shipping with Amazon Prime. Nothing else. Again, a smooth a glass, effortless cut.If you have a tablesaw, this is the blade to have.
In minutes I was back in business. My first cut was a sheet of 5/8" ACX plywood and the cut was like a newborn baby's skin. The kerf is not thin. I'm ordering another.
Excellent cut, Low noise level, Perma Shield coating allows very little residue build up. Top notch product for the price.
I bought this blade for my new Jet Deluxe saw to replace an older combination blade I had on hand. I can feel a bit of drag ripping, compared to using a dedicated rip blade, but the cut is still excellent. I've truly used it as an all-around blade - I haven't, in fact, put a dedicated crosscut or rip blade on the saw yet, as I've been happy with the cuts I've been getting. Crosscuts are as good as I've seen with a crosscut blade in the past. This is excellent performance in a modestly-priced blade, plus it's coated. I think it's a good buy.
This blade makes very clean cuts. I have cross cut and ripped Maple, Walnut, Oak, Pine, Poplar and plywood all with nice crisp cuts. The occasional cleanup of the blade and it's back like new.
I like this blade, it gives you a fairly good cut, but not as good as what I get with the 80 teeth crosscut blade or their 24 teeth rip blade. Considering that it is a combination blade and the convenience of not having to switch blades I would highly recommend it. On the other hand for real fine work I would always go to a dedicated blade.
